CMMG Gen1

C

Description:

These are some of the most common .22lr magazines out there. Traditionally they were bundled with CMMG conversion bolts and so you’ll see them all over.

Pros:

  • Cheap and easy to find. Arguably the most common .22lr magazine out there

Cons:

  • Can’t work with aftermarket bolt catches for LRBHO
  • Soon to be discontinued and/or they already have been. They're not for sale on the CMMG site anymore. You can still find them as part of a bundle with a CMMG conversion bolt, but even the new bundles have the V2 mags.

LRBHO functionality:

  • The follower will get in the way of the bolt after the last round is fired, but it can’t/won’t engage the bolt catch to hold the bolt open after the magazine is removed.
